$13,000 Dollars Raised at 35th Annual Gayla
The Holiday with Heart Charity Gayla committee is proud to announce our proceeds from the 35th annual Holiday with Heart Charity Gayla held Dec. 1, 2012. Over thirteen thousand dollars was raised for our benefiting charities. We will be presenting a $2,000 check to the Toledo Pride Foundation for their efforts with the Toledo Pride Parade & Festival, $2,000 to the Spectrum Gay and Lesbian Endowment Fund at the University of Toledo, and $2,000 to the Toledo office of AIDS Resource Center. An additional $2,000 will be deposited in the Holiday with Heart Fund at the Toledo Community Foundation. The remaining $5,000 will be held in reserve for our start up costs to present the 36th annual dinner and dance in December of this year. Our deepest expression of appreciation is extended to everyone who came out and helped support our efforts in bettering the local LGBT community. We can't thank you enough!
